The Metropolitan Affair by Jocelyn Green Book Review

The Metropolitan Affair by Jocelyn Green is a historical fiction book that takes place in the 1920s in New York City. The story revolves around Lauren, the assistant curator of Egyptology at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Joe, a police officer trying to find forgers of Egyptian artifacts.

In this review, I will discuss what I enjoyed about the story and any problems I had with it. My review does not contain spoilers, so you can read it even if you have not read this story.

All the Lost Pieces by Lara Martin is a story about Nina, who has just been fired from her restaurant manager job. This isn’t the first job she’s been fired from, and this isn’t the place she thought she’d be by this point in her life. She also has never been able to get her brother’s best friend, Lucas, to see her as more than a friend even though she’s been in love with him since she was in high school.
